Nothing ever stays the same at Disneyland, and on Wednesday, October 8, 2003, The Golden Horseshoe Variety Show performed it's final show at 5:30 pm after 4000+ performances.

Guests at the final performance included Dana Daniels' wife, Jane and two children, many fellow castmembers, his former piano player, Richard Allen, original sound technician, Bobby Davis, dozens of magicians and co-workers, friends and fans as well as special guest, Wally Boag, star of the original Golden Horseshoe Revue for over 27 years and Dana Daniels' mentor.

Below are a collection of pictures from the event.

Dana uses Marcy from Manhattan Beach for his female volunteer.

Luigi will read Marcy's mind.

Now a rich male volunteer from the audience with a $10. bill.

Opps! That trick didn't

work out too well.

For his final trick, the audience chooses between the disappearing parrot trick or Luigi doing the can-can.

The bird disappears...

behind the drape.

Luigi always wins

in the end!

to the show.

Dana and Hal

enjoy the performance.

The sad farewell.

   Wally Boag Speaks.......

Legendary Disney comedian, Wally Boag, a Disney Legend's honoree and Dana's mentor, was asked to stand and agreed to speak to the guests for about 10 minutes. He shared his memories of his days at the Golden Horseshoe including his meeting of Dana and fellow comedian, Steve Martin.

He also told us of his work in Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room as Jose, the Parrot and told some stories of those days, as well as doing a few "Jose" quotes used in the Tiki Room Show.

In these photographs, Wally entertains guests with his wonderful remembrances.
