Tropical Storm William Causes Shipment Loss
|
|
 |
Dateline-
Taipei
In an ironic twist of fate, Tropical Storm William this week, caused
untold damage to the entire shipment of Billy Bobble-heads on their way
to California from Taiwan when the cargo ship they were being
shipped in capsized and sank north of Williamsburg.
Also, lost in the storm were the entire shipment of "Whack A Billy",
"Billy Bowling", Billy Bob Teeth and video tapes of the final
episode of "The Batchelor."
Corporate spokesmen, Billy
Bob Baldwin was quoted as saying, "It was horrible. There were
Billies bobbing everywhere and than the sharks showed up. It wasn't
pretty, I'll tell you."
There were no immediate
plans to replace the lost shipment in the near future. |

Latoya Releases A New Model
Dateline,
Detroit - November 16, 2002
Latoya Motors released photographs of their latest model economy car
being rushed into production for 2004. Called the Latoya Sardinia,
the newest car version boasts great gas mileage at an extremely low
price. Built to accommodate a family of four, the Sardinia will cost
approximately $499 a can and will be available at upscale retail
stores including Trader Joe's and Starbucks.
A spokesmen for Latoya Motors was quoted as saying, "We think we have
a winner here. So far the only complaints have been the slimy feel
of the scale-like
seat coverings and the distinctive new car smell."
The newest Latoya automobile will feature anti-fish brakes, and come
in three colors; Rainbow Trout, Cod White and Salmon Pink.
