One of the most accomplished and fastest mandolin players in the world today, Evan Marshall [a.k.a. Mandolin Billy] is a pure delight to watch, whether he is playing the fiddle, duo-style picking his mandolin or belting out Jerry Lee Lewis songs. His warm smile, comical expressions and infectious laugh make him a valuable part of Billy Hill and the Hillbillies.
Besides his numerous private concerts and recitals, Evan also directs, composes for and plays in The Bridges of Orange County, an all-string chamber ensemble. He has performed with various symphony and mandolin orchestras across the country and has been a guest on Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion radio show.
Evan's musical credits also include four CD's , "Mandolin Magic", "The Lone Arranger", "Billy Hill and the Hillbillies", and "The Bridges of Orange County".
