On Opening day, July 17, 1955, the tickets were special admission only.

The first actual day of regular purchased admissions tickets was Monday, July 18, 1955.

The first printed tickets on Monday were held for Roy Disney's grandchildren.

The first two children to enter the park were Michael Schwartner and Christine Vess.

The first person to purchase a regular admission ticket was Dave McPherson, a 22 yr. old college student. For being that person, he received a Lifetime Pass. In order to accomplish this feat, Dave rode his Simplex Motorcycle from Long Beach, California during the wee small hours of Monday morning the 18th and formed a line.

All Inclusive Passports

In 1982, Disneyland introduced the all inclusive ticket or "passport". For people who still had old A through E ticket media, a credit system was implemented whereby A tickets were worth 1 point, B tickets were worth 2 points, C tickets were worth 3 points, D tickets were worth 4 points, and E tickets were worth 5 points. Up to 50 points could be applied toward the purchase of the new all-inclusive passports, which was equivalent to $5.00 off the regular price.

In 1983, Disneyland introduced the first Annual Passports to Magic Kingdom Club members only.

In 1984, Disneyland introduced the Annual Passport to the general public.
